Day 12: To Cerro Sombrero, CL
Today was a long drive in paved roads. Mostly grassy plain. We got to the coast, which is the Strait of Magellan. We took a 20 minute ferry ride across. This means we are no longer on the mainland of South America. We are now on the Isla Grande de Tierra del Fuego.
When we got to the Strait we saw an old abandoned ship next to an abandoned town.
After some more driving we got to the where the ferry departs. Here are some pictures while we waited for our ferry.
Finally we got on the ferry. We had to stay with the bikes, so no view during the journey.
