Day 8: back to Cali (140 miles)

Today was the ride back to Cali. Some curvy narrow paved roads in the morning. Then we hit some divided 4 lane highway. We cruised along at about 100 kh or so. Not a lot of pictures today. It was mostly about getting to Cali and ending the trip. We all fly out tomorrow to go home. Ricardo's front wheel bearings failed. He called for a guy with a motorcycle trailer to come pick him up where he was stopped by the highway. Danny, the other guide led us on the remaining 50km or back to Cali. Here we are at lunch.

As we drove into Cali after lunch we drove past the park with the big cat statue. That was full circle from our first day. What a trip it has been. The people are friendly. The country side is beautiful. I saw the the authentic rural Colombia that I would not have been able to see except on a motorcycle. I'm going to be back. I plan to do another tour with Ricardo sometime in the next couple of years.
