Day 9: to Nelson

Today is a short blog post. We left Hanmer Springs for a 300 km ride to Nelson, the furthest north major city on the South Island. It was a nice ride. But nothing earthshaking in terms of pictures to take. We just road and enjoyed it.

Nelson has a very walkable downtown with big shade trees and awnings that protrude from the stores. We strolled around and then had dinner. Then strolled some more. We stay here in Nelson two nights. Here are some pictures from downtown.
